Sorry it's been so long. Y'know, life and stuff.
They said:
“The flavor is rich with late hop flavors, and its bitterness is tempered by just the right amount of malt sweetness and fruity undertones from the apricots.”
I say:
I was really excited about trying this beer. The idea of sweet, caramelly apricots sounded incredible. But HELLO BITTER. This beer is not for the beer novice. They’re right when they say “late hop flavors;” they come back to punch you on the tongue. It’s incredibly bitter, and only slightly tangy. It also leaves an …interesting… sour flavor in your mouth after having a sip or two. A weird combination; my beer-newbie taste buds gathered no signs or hints of apricot other than the sour flavor at the end.
