I say:
This beer is not for the beer-drinking-novice. It had a strong, skunky-scent; for me, strong scents are hard to get past. But once I did, the texture was smooth, and the flavor was deep with caramel and left a distinct bitter bite at the end.

I guess dark beers just aren’t my thing. But I’m trying! This is my personal journey, as a non-beer drinker, diving into the world of beer, and experiencing it, one sip at a time.
Any suggestions for a beer I should try next week?
