They say (taken from BeerAdvocate.com): “…hazelnut and spicy espresso.” “Medium body. Medium carbonation.” “Smells of coffee, no sweetness detected.”
I say: In the bottle, this porter smells like chocolate milk. It’s sweetly scented, dark, and chocolaty. It does have strong, roasty espresso notes, and upon further drinking I got a hint of penny/coppery finish on the tongue. I think this particular brew was limited edition, but if you can find it, it’s worth a try for something decadent and dark.
